Gobble Gobble

This was fun.  2nd grade always has a Thanksgiving feast the day before Thanksgiving break.  They make decorations for their feast in art class.  I do a printmaking lesson with them.  The first day we print turkey namecards with their thumbs.  The second day, we print indian corn or turkey feathers with bubble wrap.  The day of the feast, we put the turkeys together.  I think they came out really cute.  Last year I did these projects by the seat of my pants.  This year I was much more organized.  I love bubble wrap!
